Colposcopy

This is a detailed examination of the cervix (neck of the womb) offered commonly to patients with an abnormal smear. It may also be used to examine the vagina and vulva in some cases. It is used to identify and treat abnormal areas on the cervix. It may also be used for other conditions like post coital bleeding.
